This project was started in January of 2006 with the idea to build a nice shop truck. Well after about 2 years and 80 pages of coverage to date ( Jan 2008 ), we have the C6-57. It is built with 1.5" Dom tubing and has complete C6 Corvette suspension and drivetrain. The truck has a 600hp LS2 with 402 Cu in. The engine is ran using all FAST and CompCams Products. It has a Kinsler stack injection unit on top. The engine bracket system is a custom made unit. The Wheels are from Budnik and the rubber is put to the ground through some BFG KDW tires. The wiring is all handled with Ron Francis products. Air ride Technologies handles the air suspension. The interior duties are all being handled by Tracy Weaver of the Recovery Room. This truck is set to debut in the spring of 2008.
In January of 2007 we started on this project for John after he looked us up to build him a tube chassis Nova. We have installed a Brand new LS7 crate engine from GM performance parts, We are Using The FAST XFI to run the engine. The wheels are from Fikse and the tires are from BFG. Most eveything on this car is hand built from the headers to the fuel tank to the hidden rollcage that will tuck up above the headliner and is inside the A pillar. The car has a 5 inch ride height. The suspension is all controlled by Chris Alstons varishock. Autometer has outfitted the car with their new Data system for this car. Tracey Weaver of the Recovery room is set to Handle the interior duties in the Spring of 2008, with a debut in Columbus this summer.
We are building this 49 Caddy with a Blown Northstar from a 2007 XLR-V. We have install a 4L65E trans to go behind the engine to handle 600Hp, the trans was prepped by Gearstar transmissions. The front suspension is Corvette C6 or XLR and the rear is a custom 4 link with Moser axles in a Fab 9 housing. The front section of the frame was hand built and the rear uses stock rails that have been boxed and narrowed. The tubular center section is built with 1.5" DOM tubing. The air bags have been built on to a cantalever system in the trunk. The car will run 18" wheels and Wilwood brakes.
We our building a 63 Nova with a tube chassis using 1.75" Dom tubing. The suspension will all be from Chris Alston's chassisworks. The 63 will have their street machine front end and triangulated billet rear 4 bar. We will just adapt their parts into our custom tube frame with their pick up points. The 63 will have an LS1 with a DSC-1 Procharger and a 6 speed. It will have a 5 inch ride height. brian th owner of the car is from the San francisco Bay area.
Well This started out as a nice southwestern 67 chevelle. It aparently had quite a reputation with the local cops. So we have brought the car in to build a pretty wild 67 chevelle. We are bending and rolling all the tubing to be not only funtional but look cool. The plans are for a big inch Procharged big block with a viper 6 speed. We have plenty more ideas but you will just have to wait. The car has been wedge sectioned and chopped just enough to improve the proportions and lower the ride height.
