1967 Camaro/Firebird Units

1967 Camaro/Firebird Units

Sometimes it’s what you don’t see that matters!

Now you can eliminate the unsightly wiper motor from your Camaro’s firewall and place it, out of sight, inside the air plenum, while keeping your car save and legal.  That’s right.  Pacific Western Design’s new state-of-the–art Raingear Systems for 1967 to 1969 Camaros and Firebirds will do just that.  Then, you can fill the wiper motor hole in the firewall or use the supplied block off plate.

Finish that engine compartment the way you want with a clean firewall.

Is the original wiper system on your Camaro/Firebird/Nova worn out?  Or is the wiper system missing entirely from a project car?  Pacific Western Design's RainGear wiper system is a modern, high-quality replacement for the old system.  It is the only replacement wiper system that is completely hidden, fitting entirely within the airbox in the cowl!  This allows you to remove the stock wiper motor.  The wiper motor hole in the firewall can be covered up with the cover plate supplied in the kit or you can weld in a patch panel to eliminate the hole entirely.  Perfect for Pro Street cars or if you just desire a clean looking firewall.

The kit comes complete less arms and blades.  Your stock arms will fit on our system.

Please note that the RainGear unit cannot be controlled by any General Motors column-mounted wiper switches.  You must use the included switch.  This is due to the fact that GM switches control the wiper motor via the ground wire and our systems must be controlled by switching the positive wire.
